The River Club

News update

Welcome to all the new members who have joined us this summer.

The clubhouse improvements are continuing, the new floor covering has been fitted and
the lighting and blinds will be fitted this autumn. The material for improving the jetty has
been obtained and work will be started before the end of the boating season.

We're thinking of getting a fixed electric winch for the club. If this sounds like a good
idea, please let us know by email: david@a2k.co.uk

I must apologise for the lack of newsletters this year and I hope this problem has now
been solved… we will be sending out by email and also post them on the web.

Howard has worked hard
overhauling the boat ,
fitting a new exhaust,
tinkering with the engine and
repainting her.

She is now back in the water and
ready for use!
